Tell us about the styling/theme for your wedding? What was the atmosphere like on the day?
I wanted everything to be timeless so I don’t look back in years to come and regret anything! I had a cold leading up to the wedding and was sick the morning of. We had a 6am start but the atmosphere just got better and better as the day went on and I started to feel better too, which I am so thankful for (nothing champagne can’t fix) Plus the weather was perfect!!
What do you feel was the most unique/memorable part of your wedding?
I loved that we had such a big bridal party (20 including Will and I) we weren’t originally going to have any but so happy we changed our minds as they made the lead up and the day so memorable! The girls had olive leaves as their bouquets, which I loved and the boys wore a classic formal tux! Will and I also decided to surprise my mum by using the same song for our wedding dance as her and my late father, which was pretty special.
Tell us about your wedding dress & how you came to choose the perfect one:
I had a limit of 5 dresses that I wanted to try and my sister kept insisting on this dress, which I was not a fan of at all, but she was so pushy that in the end I just did it to humour her. I tried it on first to get it out of my way and it ended up being the dress. It fit my shape perfectly and made my breasts look small which was important as I felt they were falling out of the others! Also was totally over my budget but was such an easy choice!

No, it was perfect and this is a question I asked so many brides before our wedding day!

What advice would you give to future brides?
To use a venue that was as helpful as the Stamford! They were amazing and I cannot thank them enough! Also to soak it all up as the day is over before you know it.
